Speaker Trilogy
Non-Speaker
"A tale of adventure, family, friendships and one's place in society"
What if you were 'Nothing'? Well, for Adler, that's just another ordinary day. Born into the Kingdom of Falconia, Adler was supposed to have the ability to speak to birds. He ought to have been born with it. Unfortunately, he wasn't. To make matters worse, what bird he speaks to determines his rank and profession in his Kingdom. At just three, he is labelled a 'Non-Speaker'. In other words, nothing.
But Adler isn't going to accept this lying down. He has a plan to escape, even if it means risking his life on a daily basis to do so. Nothing's going to stop him from proving he's just as capable as anyone else. Not his family, not his friends, not his superior officer, not even War.
Yup. It's just another day.
Sanctuary
"A tale of adventure, daring rescues, and unlikely friendships"
It's been a year since peace with Leocinia and Adler is enjoying the freedom he's earned. However, his peaceful life comes to an abrupt end one morning when he wakes up to find Prince Corwin, his former enemy, outside his cave.
The Prince needs his help. There are other Great Speakers in the four Kingdoms and one of them, Serafina, has been imprisoned for five years. To rescue her, they'll need to find the fourth Great Speaker, the illusive Midnight Raider; traverse three of the four Kingdoms; escape detection and imprisonment; and break into an unbreakable tower in the middle of the night.
It doesn't sound too difficult.
The Bells Toll
"A tale of family, friendship, revenge, and sacrifice."
Seven years have passed since the founding of the Centre and relations with the Four Kingdoms have been testy. Things get worse when Princess Nalea, Corwin's younger sister, flees Leocinia for the Centre seeking sanctuary from an arranged marriage. Diplomatic tensions ensue and Adler is drawn into a fight between Priests, Kings, and siblings.
But then the ringing of the bells changes everything and the world as they know it ends in the space of weeks. Only the Centre is left untouched, surrounded by their now helpless enemies.
What should they do? Take them in? Or leave them to their fate? And what’s the price of either choice?
Nothing has ever been what it seems.
